Lama Lawang

Lama Lawang was born in Tibet in 1938. He became a monk at the age of 12 and completed his studies at the monastery of Sed Gyu.

In 1959, he went to India and then followed the course on Tibetan medicine at the Institute of Medicine and Astrology in Dharamsala. He has devoted great energy to building a Sed Gyu monastery in India and one in Nepal.

He has been living in Italy since 1995 as a guest of the Kunpen Lama Gangchen in Milan. He meets every day with people in need of help and support, spiritual teachings, advice and help for emotional problems. Every Tuesday at 7pm, Lama Lawang guides the Guru Puja at the Kunpen Centre.
