Aldo Franzoni

Aldo Franzoni received his first teachings on Buddhism from the Tibetan Lama Gheshe Jampel Senghe Ati in 1975.

Many teachings followed during the course of the next 30 years, from many Masters including Thubten Zopa, Thubten Yeshe, Kalu Rinpoche, Yeshi Dönden, Gonsar Rinpoche, Gheshe Rabten, H.H. Sakya Trizin, Yeshe Tobden, Gheshe Champa Ghyatzo, H.H. the Dalai Lama, Gheshe Champa Lödro, Gheshe Tenzin Gonpo, Gangchen Rinpoche, Jang-chub Son-dup, Ole Nydahl, Gheshe Sonam Jang-chub, Gheshe Tashi Bum, Gheshe Sonam Ghyalzen, Thamthog Rinpoche, Namkhai Norbu, Tenzin Ösel Rinpoche, Dagpo Rinpoche, Nelgiorpa Tenzin, Yangsi Rinpoche, Khyabje Trijiang Chogtrul Rinpoche, Palgin Tülku and Gheshe Lobsang Sherab (the resident Lama at the Giang-ciub Centre in Bergamo, Aldo's home town).

At the same time, his interest in Tibetan Buddhism led him to read and study the texts of western authors. The result of these long years of study is a compendium of monographs gathering subjects relating to Tibetan Buddhism, entitled "Dharma of Tibet". We are very grateful for permission to publish all these monographs on the Dharma section of this website. The texts are in Italian.
