Himalayan treatments
with Tseten Phuntsok
Tibetan massage is one of the Tibetan medical therapies that can heal many kinds of physical and
psychological disorders. The term derives from 'Ku', which literally means 'to apply' and refers to
applying body oils to be absorbed through the skin, and from 'Nye' which refers to massage.
There are
many kinds of massage techniques: stroking, rubbing, kneeding and digito-pressure. Different kinds of
oils and lotions are applied, depending on the disorder.
The practice of Ku Nye is based on the perfect
harmony of the four elements of the human body and mind: fire, air, water and earth, united with space,
generate the three humours (bile, phlegm, wind) that define a person's state of health.
During Tibetan
massage, certain body points are touched, following "maps" similar to those used in acupuncture, and the
channels of Tibetan medicine. The masseur usually uses hands and fingers, but it's sometimes necessary
to use the whole arm. An important factor in Ku Nye is the use of oils that are applied to the whole
body.
This ancient art of massage is very effective in treating insomnia, eliminating toxins, healing
depression and anxiety, increasing vitality, and for joint pains.
Abhyanga Ayurvedic Relaxation
with Ariella De Montis
Massage and ayurvedic treatments following the theory of the five elements and three dosha (Vata, Pitta,
Kapha) with the use of medicinal warm organic macerated oils that are unique to Ayurvedic massage.
The word 'ayurveda' derives from two Sanskrit words: Ayus: life, and Veda: science.
The relaxing "Abhyanga" massage re-unifies the body parts through wide, deep, coordinated and sometimes
vigorous motions.
Ayurvedic massage stimulates and raises awareness in our primordial energy system, Kundalini, which
flows along our spine. The results are to be seen in the lymphatic, cardio-vascular and neuro-sensorial
systems.
The massage is performed calmly and delicately, and it can be taken as an opportunity to accept
changes in one's life.
Usui and Chagwang Ngalso Reiki treatments
with Giuseppe Bordina and Gabriella Lo Re
Reiki, the "universal energy", is a natural relaxation technique performed by placing the hands over the
body's energy points and organs. It works on both the physical and mental levels: it is the source of
deep relaxation, it helps to overcome stress and it ignites self healing processes.
The treatment
triggers a series of natural synchronization processes that raise physical, mental and emotional
wellbeing. The aims of the Chagwang NgalSo Reiki treatment are to purify and balance the energies of the
body's five elements.
Plantar Reflexology
Reflexology is a form of therapy performed by stimulating certain areas of the body, especially in the
feet or hands, to improve health. Reflexology is based on the connection between the organs and their
related points on the surface of the foot.
The feet (microcosm) are parts of the human body (macrocosm) that reflect all a person's energetic,
physiological, anatomic, emotional, mental, psychological and even spiritual characteristics. By
treating the feet, the whole person is cared for.
The organs are connected to points on the surface of
the feet. These connections are used to reveal alterations in energy and to restore harmony.
This discipline, using pressure points as in acupuncture, shiatsu and digitopressure, is based on the
principle of the "channels" that vital energy flows through, from the points on the feet to the organs,
thus sustaining the whole organism's equilibrium and vitality.
Half-hour and one-hour treatments.
A relaxing foot bath is given before the 1 hour treatment.
Counseling centering on past lives
Counseling centering on past (and present) lives is a therapeutic process that helps to address
existential themes through a concept of time which is more dilated than that of classical psychotherapy.
Buddhist philosophy conceives us to be the result of our actions of body, speech and mind. Some facts,
episodes and dramas that we have lived through in past lives still affect us in good and negative ways
and influence our present life.
This form of counseling helps us to face and overcome senses of insecurity, guilt, inhibitions and
depression, difficult family situations and some physical illnesses that we have inherited from our past
lives.
R. Woolger, one of my teachers, said "it does not matter whether one believes in reincarnation or not.
In fact, the subconscious nearly always brings up a history of past lives if it is stimulated in the
right way. Even if the conscious part of our mind is skeptical, the subconscious is a great believer!"
No form of hypnosis or mental manipulation is used in this counseling therapy. The client/patient never
loses control of his/her mind, but simply lets out the parts of his/herself that need to be expressed
and healed. Mature aspects emerge of their own will and "act upon us" without us consciously realising.
It is not a question of going back in time, but rather descending into our deeper self: the past acts on
our present and in our present time we create the karmic conditions for our future.
Briefly, counseling on past lives consists in becoming conscious of our existential-karmic themes. It is
combined with the techniques and concepts of "Psicosintesi", an investigative method into Self that was
created, practiced and taught by Roberto Assagioli.
At the core of this experience can be found the protective healing energy of the 5 Dhyani Buddhas (the 5
Supreme Healers) and the 5 Mothers of the Elements, of NgalSo Tantric Self Healing.
A session lasts one and a half hours.

Bach and Australian Flower Therapy, Naturopathy
with Gabriella Lo Re
Floral Essences, flowers of the soul, are vibrational remedies for recovering physical and emotional harmony. They were known in ancient Egypt, in India, Asia, South America, and they were very popular in medieval Europe. Both Hildegard Von Bingen (XII century) and Paracelsus (XV century) left written testimony to the custom of collecting flower dew as a cure to emotional disorders.
Bach Flowers
Bach flower therapy allows us all to become "therapists of the soul" to heal ourselves and eliminate
harmful behavioural patterns with the positive energies of the flowers, while developing better
knowledge of our mind and emotions. To transform our attitudes, get out of a negative mental state and
reach inner equilibrium, it can often suffice to take a step in the right direction.
Edward Bach intuitively discovered that conscience is based on certain reaction models that are the same
for all living beings, plants, animals and humans, and that the flowers of some wild plants contain
"something" that is able to re-balance alterated reaction patterns. Bach identified 38 alterated
reaction patterns that he divided into 7 groups. These groups include all possible forms of fear,
indecisiveness, refusal of reality, loneliness, vulnerability, anxiety, excessive behaviour and
attitudes to others.
Physical ills also originate in the disharmony between the psyche and the Self,
between emotions and feelings, that eventually have repercussions on the body. By treating the deep
underlying ailment, the physical illness is healed because it is the result of unbalanced forces that
have long been acting from the depths of the soul.
Australian Flower Therapy
Floral remedies have been known since ancient times: Australian aborigines have always used flowers to
treat distress or emotional disorders. The Austrialian variety balances the endocrine glands and acts
directly on the body.
Australian Bush Flower Essences let us contact our mind and emotions, they let us understand, accept and
free ourselves of negative convictions that are present in our subconscious. We can eliminate negative
thought patterns and allow good feelings of love, joy, trust, bravery and so on to grow. Our inner
balance is thus re-established and true psycho-physical wellbeing emerges.
Naturopathy
The array of bio-natural disciplines foster continuing good health and wellbeing through the application of a variety of natural techniques. Treatments are based on constitutional characteristics, predisposition and functional energy assessments. After the physiognomic analysis, advice is given for a natural healthy diet and lifestyle, and the use of phyto-nutritional supplements.
Iridology with Carla Faiella
Iridology is a diagnostic tool which is based on the analysis of the eye's iris. It permits the
consultant to see if there is a problem in the body's organs or functionality, as well as the mental and
psychological characteristics of the person.
Advice will be given regarding diet, behaviour and the use
of supplements, phytotherapy and trace elements, according to the person's constitution and diathesis,
to re-balance the body and trigger the process of physical self healing.
Energy Harmonization
with Vanda Idda
Energy harmonization is a healing technique which aims to unblock and harmonize the subtle body, the
energy channels and chakras. It is non-invasive because it is performed without touching the body, so it
is compatible with other treatments or practices of any kind. It is suitable both for healthy people and
for those suffering from illness. The sessions takes place in an atmosphere of respect, silence and
meditation.
Comfortable, white or light coloured clothes made of natural, not synthetic, materials should be worn.
The complete treatment of the whole subtle body is done in two sessions, which can both take place on
the same day.
Memory integration - Regression
with Vanda Idda
Memory integration is a ritual of regression which aims to recover our subconscious memories to heal
them and integrate them into our life.
Traumas and emotional imprints can be explained by the experiences of our soul in this life and in
previous lives. The memories in our soul can be the cause of the blockages of our evolutive impulses in
this life. Through regression, we can access, understand and heal those memories.
The basis of the reasoning is the "law of cause and effect": each action generates a new action, karma,
the result of all that we have done. Regression is like "returning to the past" to understand it, with
the opportunity to transform our "destiny".
The session lasts from about one and a half to two hours.
