On April 12th 2005, Lama Gangchen invited all his friends to the gompa of the Albagnano Healing Meditation Centre to hear his request, which today he would particularly like to spread to all his friends in many countries.
The AHMC will play an historic and important role, to physically and mentally benefit people through its educational and artistic work, as well as spreading our practices and exercises. We are giving to the world what it is lacking. We are developing this Centre, the gompa and its activities, the parking place… many things, which is why we now have a debt. In view of this situation we have to raise the question: What to do? How to manage it?
In Albagnano, we are developing a spiritual culture with the daily offering of the Tsog. Many of you experience the collateral effect of this positive accumulation. In our lifetime, we always use numbers in a negative way. The few hours available for our tasks, our negative bank account balance, our age, always count up negatively; as we grow older, even the numeric results of clinical analyses always worry us. On the other hand, counting the Tsog offerings in Albagnano is an example of how we can add numbers in a positive way.
You can also experience a positive side effect: the benefit of being one more in the "1 Euro a day" campaign. It is difficult for me to ask this, but we are all like a family and I have to say it openly because no one wants bankruptcy. I do not think any of you want the failure of this project. Here we are making history and creating a good example. There are so many things to do; one person cannot do it all alone, we have to do it together.
Although people can give more than 30€ a month, I wish this amount to be a fixed monthly donation. Someone could do it on behalf of their parents, friends and families, or even invite them to participate in this campaign. If anyone wants a special puja in a particular month, they can give an extra monthly donation, as they choose, but always considering the basic 30€ a month. I will personally do something for you. I shall do the dedications, the Shabten, so that you will obtain a positive result in your life.
